So far in the 2017-18 NHL season, the New York Rangers have four victories through 11 games. And although the club has five straight losses at home so far this season, the team is undefeated in its first two games in their new building. All of these statistics bode well for the young New York Rangers, who have an enormous opportunity to get some home ice advantage tonight in their upcoming contest against Sparta Prague. The National Hockey League’s inaugural female anthem singer, Julia Zimmerman, will lead the singing of the American national anthem before the game, and Thalia Gustavsson will be the lead announcer for the contest as well.

Also, for those interested in tonight’s matchup, the online stream for the game can be found on Watch TNT. Viewers are encouraged to use their cable credentials to access the live stream.

Sparta Prague currently sits as the fourth best team in the NHL, and they have posted a 22-18-6 record in all competitions since the start of the 2013-14 NHL season. The club consists of four players from the Czech Republic, including Pavel Lankenský (right wing, 21 years old, +15), Christian Brassard (left wing, 28 years old, +15), Martin Havlat (center, 33 years old, +13) and Milan Kovar (defenseman, 26 years old, +10).

*Note: The NHL’s oldest team by a longshot, the Atlanta Thrashers, renamed the Carolina Hurricanes last offseason.
