Ben & Jerry’s ice cream comes to Sicily

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream has been so successful in southern Europe it has now introduced a regional flavour, Tirannico, or Golf in Sicily.

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, which is known for reinventing the original flavour, says Tirannico will be served on Tirri Piovo (top of Palermo hill) during the summer months – during weekends when the city’s fairground isn’t open – to celebrate the island’s golf courses.

An ice cream range introduced in the first three months of the year for Sicily is proving a hit: the Chez Blain ice cream range is available in a selection of shops around the province including the Treviso and Messina branches of Blue Marble, the popular ice cream shop in London.

In central Italy there are lemon sherbets and yogurts. At fairgrounds in central Italy there are lemon sherbets and yogurts.
